Problem with Outlook Network Password

I use a Xp laptop when i travel. i have just landed in Mexico and loged
onto hotel wifi network.

outlook will download mail but when i try to reply it wants me to Enter
Network Password in a pop up box. it has correct details but just
returns after each enter?

I have been away for a few weeks on this trip and have had no problems
login in to wifi or networks in Europe and US...

could this be a firewall problem with hotel network...IE6 is working
hard to prevent pup ups and between each page we seem to bounce back to
a hotel network page?

if i use web mail all seems normal apart from the popups...
