Problem with Outlook XP

D

David Michael

I'm running a fully licensed and updated version of
Office XP on XP Home edition. The problem is that if I
forward an email message, and make any changes to the
text, the letters that I insert are moved one space over
from the existing text. Thus if the original sentence
was as follows: "I am going to go to the movie at 7:00
p.m." and I wanted to forward it but change the time to
7:30, the email would look as follows: "I am going to go
to the movie at 7: 30 p.m."

This problem starting when I was running Office 2003; I
got a new computer and exported the Outlook info onto my
new computer (running Office XP, as indicated above), and
am experiencing the same problems.

Any suggestions?

What have you tried using the Tools->Options->Preferences Tab->Email Options
for marking your mail?
