Problem with Outlook

I have Outlook 2007 running on windows XP which I download my e-mails from
mail.BTinternet.com.

Microsoft released an upgrade on Tuesday 13 updates and since then my e-mail
will not download from my ISP. I have to run system restore to a date
previous to tuesday on my pc for my e-mails to download which is now
becoming annoying because the pc keep asking to install these updates. As
anyone else come across this problem or have any solutions how it can be
resolved?

With the updates installed, open Outlook and use the Test Accounts option,
from there you should get an error msg which might help
Another test would be to start outlook using the safe switch, see if that
helps

Outlook.exe /safe

Thanks DL. I'll give that a try. For now I have just used the customs
installation option for these updates and didn't install the updates that
effect outlook which seems to have worked.
