Problem with Project 98

Hi All,

When trying to change the persentage completed with a task
I get the following response :-

WINPROJ caused an invalid page fault in
module WINPROJ.EXE at 017f:30001e6a.

This only happens with one of the tasks and all the rest
update with no problem.

Can anyone help with this please.

Hi,

Firstly do you have SR1? (Check via Help, About Project).

Secondly if you are on SR-1 then you may well have a file corruption. Try
opening the file then immediately saving it again. This gets Project to do
some file housekeeping. If that doesn't work try saving to a .mpd file via
File, Save As then closing the file then re-opening from .mpd and saving as
..mpp again.

This hopefully will remove the corruption and allow you to set % complete.
If not, then delete that task and re-enter it.

Sounds like corruption. Try deleting and reentering the task.
