Problem with same form template id in Sharepoint Form Library

Hi,

I have a Sharepoint Solution that has a Form Library with one Infopath
Form Template. I have now copied that solution to another Sharepoint
site on the same portal server, and have now found out that the 2 Form
Libraries have the same Form Template ID. This means that when I open
a form from one library and then open a form from the other form
library, Infopath asks me if I want to update my form template on my
computer.
I have tried to change the Form Template ID on one of the Infopath
form templates and it seems to work when I save the Infopath form
template on my computer, but when I publish my form template to the
form library the From Template ID is reset to the original.
Is it possible to change the Form Template ID on an existing Form
Library?
And if so, what happens to the existing forms in the library?

I am using Infopath 2003 SP2 and Sharepoint Portal Server 2003.

Hello

I think it is the Form Conflict error you are seeing. Yes You can change the
Form Template Name by publishing it with New Name to sharepoint and Dont
worry about the Old forms in the Form Library, You can relink them in the
Sharepoint so that they are united back to the New template.

I hope it helps you

Hi
Thanks.
Just one question - how do I publish the template with a new name. If
I change the name in properties it doesn't help.
