problem with sending mails

I am experiencing some technical problem with my mail account. Currently I
sync my email acct with microsoft outlook. There is no problem receiving
mails. However, I can't send mail from my office although there is no problem
when I test account settings. I can send at home though. This is quite
urgent. Please advise. Thank you

So, to summarize:
- You can send from home.
- You cannot send from work.

What you never mentioned is if this is the same laptop you are using at
home and work, or if you are using your home computer and a work
computer which are not the same computer. You also never mention WHERE
you are connecting for mail at home and work. Maybe you are connecting
to your own ISP's SMTP server at home but to your company's Exchange
server at work. Or maybe you are connecting to your company's Exchange
server at both places by using a VPN at home to connect to work. Way
too much of your setup has not been described.

So have you contacted the network admin at work to determine if you are
allowed to connect to mail servers outside of their network? They may
require all mails originate from their domain.
