Problem with shareing DB

Hello.

When i try to share out my database in BcM Version 2, i get thi
error.
Business Contact Manager for Outloo could not complete your last actio
or actions. Please try agin.

I have read about that you have to be the administrator to share ou
your DB, but this error occurs when i chose the "I still want to shar
my Business Contact Manager data with other user".

Is this a problem that has happend to anyone else?

I am greatful for all the help and tips i can get.

You have to be dbo of a database (i.e. the user that created it) to
share it out.

In addition, ti share the database across a network,
the first time a database is shared on a PC, BCM needs to enable
some networking protocols on the machine, and open the MS firewall to
the network port used by the BCM MSDE instance. Fort this you need
to have admin privileges on the PC.

In a workgroup LAN (no domain controller/Active Directory),
you need to add a user/passwd to the machine in order for that
user to reach your database from their machine.
You need admin privileges to add that user.

If you have a third party firewall on your PC, you will have to
configure (open) the port manually.
