I am struggeling with this issue for months now and really could need
some help.
Scenario: We have build two search pages in SP Designer and published
to our MOSS portal. These pages both filter a doc lib based on the
input of a textfield. See this image:

Problem: After each night the search page won't give any results.
Some facts:
- Normal search function of MOSS works fine.
- German Server and MOSS + SP1 + English language pack
- Project Server also installed
- This is not an issue on a test server (without Project Server
installed)
- If the page is not working it reloads really quick after hitting the
search-button. If it's working it takes some time to get the results.
Last weekend I made a complete new set up of this system, starting
with a new Config DB but restored the SSP and Content DBs on the first
evening. Also to mention that the indexing for search was not
performed that night. The next day the search page worked. After
setting this up again with the Project Server it doesn't work anymore.
To get the page running, I have to restart the IIS app pool every
morning and execute a search within a minute (I am not kidding! .
Tonight I disabled the indexing, same prob.
Maybe this is an issue with the Project and SharePoint server
installed on one machine?! Anyway there must be a solution?!
Please help.
PS: I also posted this at the MSDN SharePoint forum, but they told me
to post it here. http://forums.microsoft.com/Forums/ShowPost.aspx?PostID=3618307&SiteID=1
