Problem with SQL 2000 Table

I'm trying to attach a SQL view within Access using ODBC drivers. The client
is up-to-date; I'm not sure about the server. I do know the server as SQL
2000 sp3a installed. The server is running Windows 2003 Server.

When I try to open the table, I get the message: ODBC -- call failed. The
table has about 94,000 record.

I am able to use an Access Project with existing data to open the SQL table.
Thus, it appears to be related to ODBC drivers.

If anybody can tell me where to look to resolve this issue?
