Problem with sql query

Hello,
I have a problem with the queries in a DB. They work OK in every computer in
the office except in the boss's one. I only get an error message saying
access can't understand the sql code (i.e: functions as simple as and, or,
left,...)
Does any one have a solution for this problem?
