I have loaded some plans onto Project Server that had been initially built
off of the server. Actual work had been entered into these plans prior to
them being imported to the server. I used the work around of turning off
Managed Periods, importing the plans, republishing them (and checking the
"Overwrite Existing Work..." box), and turning Managed Periods back on so
that the actual work in the plan previously would become a part of protected
actuals. Now, when I go in and choose "Tools > Tracking > Sync to Protected
Actuals" MS Project always crashes. This happens on all plans. I have not
found any documentation on this (which may mean that I'm not looking in the
right places). Does anybody know of a solution?
Thanks!
