problem with the identities

I just have installed new office software recently, I have created 3
independent accounts for outlook, everything was fine for the first week,
when I tried to open outlook it always prompted me to select the right
identity. However for some reason it stopped working, i only ask to choose
the identity after restarting pc, then when you close outlook and open it
again it brings to straight to the last identity i was working on. I checked
all the identities and they all have the prompt to option selected, not sure
what is wrong with it?
Any ideas.

Yes Right it does not use identities it uses profiles to be exact, however
it doesn't solve my problem!Sorry for repeating my self, thought the first
one didn't get through ,my mistake.

Ensure Outlook completely closes each time. Some common reasons why Outlook will not shut down completely when you click either the X or Exit:

1. PDA synchronization software with your PDA in the cradle.
2. WinFax Pro (especially 10.02 in Outlook 2003) - contact their support for an alleged fix.
3. Franklin-Covey Plan Plus!
4. COM Add-ins.
5. Mail reminder add-ins that keep a stub of Outlook open in the background to check for new mail and fire reminders.
6. Anti-virus/firewall programs that are set to scan incoming and outgoing mail.
