problem with the reminder pop up

Hi,

I have a problem with the calender/task reminder, it doesn't pop up to
remind the user when the time comes. I have tried all the suggestion from
microsoft webpage and performed a few switch action but still no luck. Could
someone give me some hint? thanks in advance
