Problem with "Tools/Track Changes"

When I try to use "Tools/Track Changes" pull-down menu, instead of
getting the options to highlight changes, accept/reject changes, etc.,
I am getting a "File" pull-down menu. This just started today. Any
suggestions?

Trash your Word preferences. They are probably corrupted.
