problem with trial version download

I downloaded the trial version of Visio from the Microsoft website and am
having trouble installing the program. I get the following error:

VisioEval.exe is not a valid Win32 application. I'm running Windows XP
Professional on a laptop with plenty of horsepower.

Any thoughts or suggestions?
