Problem with UPGRADE OFFICE 2000 SR-1

WHEN TRYING TO UPGRADE OFFICE 2000 WITH SR-1A RECEIVED
FOLLOWING MESSAGE:

Microsoft Office 2000 SR-1 Update did not complete
successfully. For assistance, contact Microsoft Technical
Support.

See the log file: Office 2000 SR-1 Setup(0009).txt

WHEN TRYING TO REACH "Technical Support" was run around
in circle after circle to try to reach online help.

Can someone please help???

Hi, T,

If you aren't able to contact Tech Support, you might want to look in the
log file to see if you can figure out what type of error is occurring, and
where. It's a very technical looking file, but you might be able to at
least find a clue for what's going on.
