I am new to FrontPage and creating web sites. That said I have one site that
is published and I have updated files to it using FrontPage. But I have
another site that I can see the remote site location files but when I try to
update them it won't. I first open the local web site then click on Remote
Web Site then Remote web site properties. I fill in the information using
Passive FTP. It opens both sides of the screen left being the local site and
right being the remote site. On the remote site I can see all the files that
I've used to build the web site showing conflict in the status line. When I
try to transfer the files from the local site to the remote site it first
asks if I want to overwrite and I click Yes. Then the Confirm Copy box opens
and for 20 minutes it appears to be uploading but then a box open saying:
Could not find a web server at broadways.ca on port 21. Please check to make
sure that the web server name is valid and your proxy settings are set
correctly. If you are sure that everything is correct, the web server may be
temporairly out of service.
I don't understand if I can see the files why it says it can't find it.
Your help would be appreciated.
