Problem with vertical property in reports

I am having trouble printing a report using the vertical
property for a label box. I can print it out on a xerox
model Workcenter Pro 412 but when I go to print it out on
any other printer or try to create a PDF file I get a
printer error rangecheck; offendingCommand: endcidrange
foloowed by Stack: and 3 pages of numbers and a final
line of warning postscrip error. Does anyone have an idea
of what is going on. I don't know why it work on one
printer but doesn't work on others I tried microsoft and
they suggested this avenue. Any help would be a help...
