problem with video thru LCD projector

Hi
I am using WindowsXp and Powerpoint2003.
I inserted a video into a slide. when run, I could see the video in my
laptop. But when I projected my ppt onto a screen using an LCD
projector, the video appeared black. I could hear the audio, though.

What could be the problem?

Any help is appreciated.
