problem with Visio Solution Publishing Tool

Hi

I've created a Visio 2003 template that contains VBA
scripts and wanted publish this template and the stencils
using the publishing Tool from the SDK 2003.

As required I've created *.msi file using "Visual Studio
Installer". Then using the publishing tool, I can open the
*.msi file and make changes.

When I use "Apply" command in the publishing tool to apply
the changes, an error "ERROR: Problem writing to MSI
database." occurs.


Can anyone help?

To troubleshoot the problem you're seeing, it would help alot to get project
and source files with the problem. I'll contact you to see if we can

As a follow-up for the newsgroup, here's more information after
investigating the project files:

The SDK publishing tool requires version 2 of the Windows installer. It
appears that this error is occuring when version 1.1 of the windows
installer is used.
