Problem with week numbers

Hello

I have a problem with the week numbers which I display in Outlook by ticking
an option.(they show up in the small calender to the top left of the big
one)

Outlook displays week one as finishing on 01 Jan 2006 (a Sunday) and week 2
starting on 02 Jan 2006 inspite of the fact that it is also programmed to
show the week starting on a Monday.

If I look at a normal French calender, (cos I live in France), week 2 starts
around the 08/09 Jan 2006

This difference is causing me and my collleagues no end of problems.

Is it the same with Outlook in English and how can I change it?

Have you changed the settings for week 1 here: Tools menu > Options >
Calendar?
