Problem with Word 2003 sp2

Andrew

When Word starts up it takes a long time, to load, and often just crashes
everyime. This problem started when I installed service pack 2 for office
2003 professional, and only affects word 2003.

The same thing happens to me, but I don't experience any loading time
lag...here's some more info:

As long as the mouse cursor is over any of the toolbars, it doesn't crash,
but as soon as the cursor moves over the text area (even of an empty page)
the error message comes up. The file it faults is "module imts4off.dll" and
this happens every single time. This same problem also happened when I had a
specific security fix installed before SP2 came out--I can only assume that
his security fix was included in SP2.

Any Ideas?
Thanks,
Zzelinski

Navigate to Control Panel Add Remove Programs, make sure Show Updates is
checked; remove Office SP2.

Run a spyware detector and an anti-virus program.

Still from Control Panel Add Remove Programs, Choose the main entry for
Office 2003, run a repair install.

Reinstall Office SP2.

Let us know.
