Problem with word! Emergency!!!

I have been trying to type a document longer than a page for a month now and
my Word program isn't letting me. I have to go into Reading layout to see
more than the first page. School has started and I need to fix this soon. I
have already reinstalled just word and then I uninstalled and reinstalled the
whole Microsoft Office Professional Edition 2003 program. What more can I do??

Go to Format | Columns and make sure that the number of columns is set to 1.
If you find that it is set to a different number, you will need to make the
change in Normal.dot in order to correct the problem in all new documents.
