Problem Word XP

I have installed Word XP (Office XP SP1 and SP2) on pc with Windows98 SE.
Word was good for many days..
Now when I opne Word I can't write or use the mouse, it is blocked!
I have already
- uninstall Word and install it;
- Office repair
- change the file normal.dot.
I haven't resolve my problem..
Any helps?? thank's
