Problems after Outlook 2000 to 2003 upgrade.

On my Windows XP - SP2 PC I recently upgraded my Outlook 2000 to Outlook
2003. Now I have a host of problems. During the install of Outlook 2003 it
gave me a choice of upgrading or a new install. I opted for the upgrade but
now I wish I had done the new install. My question is this, if I go in to
"Add Remove Programs" and uninstall Outlook 2003 and reinstall it again as a
new install will all of my emails and contact folders and subfolder survive,
and be able to be imported into the new installation?

Any help would be appreciated.

Ted

PS. I though maybe I could resolve the problems I was having by going to the
Microsoft site and doing the Office upgrages. This wouldn't work, however,
because the upgrade stopped and asked for a file that was supposed to be on
the original Office 2000 disk but was nowhere to be found on that disk (I did
a full disk search for that file), so it wouldn't finish the upgrade.

Yes, they should survive just fine, however, don't use the import function,
reuse the current data file:

Reconnect your old Outlook data file
