problems after SP2 upgrade

After running the SP2 upgrade on Office 2003 Pro, every time I start Access
from the Start button, I first get the Windows Installer popup attempting
(apparently) to re-install MS Office 2003 Pro. It doesn't really seem to do
anything & goes away after a while followed by Access starting. The
Application Event log says the configuration was successful (?).

It's rather annoying and I'd like to get rid of it. Any suggestions?

Hi, BC Mike,

Try repairing your Office installation by (really) reinstalling it. See if
that resolves the issue.
