Using Word 2008.
My objective is to have two types of list styles: one with numbers in
level 1 and letters in level 2 and the other with numbers in level one
and bullets in level 2.
I have created a List Style for 2 levels and created the two Paragraph
Styles for those 2 levels. All was working well for several weeks.
Today, I tried to create a 2 level List Style with numbers in level 1
and bullets in level 2.
So I created two Paragraph Styles very similar to the first ones and
then I created multi level List Style with numbers in level 1 and
bullets in level 2 and then linked those levels to the two just defined
Paragraph Styles.
I've done this twice and both times my original List Style no longer
works properly. No numbers in level 1 and and no letters in level 2.
So I erased my second multi-level List Style (numbers and bullets) and
all is working well with my single multi-level List Style.
I hope I explained this clearly.
Any tips as to what I'm doing wrong are appreciated.
Thank you.
