Problems deleting an unwanted report

I imported a report to my database as I liked the format but after a while
decided against using it.
I deleted it from the Report area of Access but now every time I try to
press a control button on my report I get "Error accessing file Network
connection may have been lost" which it has not.
I click OK and it takes me into VB and it shows the report under "Microsoft
Access Class Objects" on selection it will not delete and the wizard shows a
message talking about the report entered in the property sheet is misspelled
or does not exist.

Help please!

Firstly, make a backup copy of your mdb file, so you get multiple chances at
recovering it.

Then try a compact:
File | Database Utilities | Compact/Repair

If that doesn't work, get Access to create the database for you with all the
other objects (i.e. everything except the problem one.) Follow the steps for
the first symptom in this article:

If you are using an old copy of Access 2000 that has not had its service
packs applied, you may have run into this problem:
