I am using Windows XP (SP2) and Outlook XP. When sending a email attachment
using File => send to=> mail recipient , my email message immediately is
returned. However, if I send the spreadsheet as an attachment by first
creating a new email message and then attaching the Excel spreadsheet, the
message goes through fine.
I did notice that when attaching the message using File=> send to, the
following was displayed in my email message:
The message is ready to be sent with the following file or link attachments:
Documentation1.xls
Note: To protect against computer viruses, e-mail programs may prevent
sending or receiving certain types of file attachments. Check your e-mail
security settings to determine how attachments are handled.
