Running MS Outlook (MS Office 2000 Small Bisiness version) on an XP platform.
Receive e-mail that has an embedded sound file. Open e-mail and sound plays
correctly.
Wish to forward e-mail and click on 'Forward'. New screen opens and
displays e-mail to be forwarded in the usual way, except that the sound
portion of the e-mail is extracted and shows up in the address bar as an
attachment.
Recipients of the forwarded e-mail advise that message was received with the
sound portion of the message as an attachment. In order to get the sound
portion to play, recipient must double click on the attachment.
Is there a setting that can be changed that will allow the sound portion of
the message to remain intact within the forwarded e-mail?
Any advice on how to resolve this problem would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.
