I am trying to import a huge (127 MB) XML file from the Federal
government in to ACCESS 2007.
I open it by first creating a new MDB then importing the XML.
ACCESS imports about 15 tables and many have the exact same number of
records (little over 20,000) but it does not establish any links and
worst of all some tables are way less that the 20,000 records so i
have no way of know how these smaller tables are linked to the
majoirty of the big tables that have 20,000 records.
Is there some intermediate step I am missing? Or is there some
software that i can use to establish links before ACCESS or is there
some way to look in the XML file and figure out if all of the tables
can indeed be linked? In the ACCESS tables there are no common fields
that i can link the small tables to the big tables.
Thanks.
