problems in Office WORD 2003

Hi everyone!

I have a problems in Office WORD 2003 SP2 (just in Word), even after
reinstall ...
If I select some word, or a part of the text, and press backspace or some
other key, the text is not deleted, as it should normally be; it stays
there, and cursor is positioned before it.

Till few days everything was worked normal, pls help!

This is a Word for Mac group--but somewhere in Word 2003 is an option for
"typing replaces selection" that you need to check. I think in Word 2003 it
might be somewhere in the Tools | AutoCorrect dialog, if you don't find it
there check the Tools | Options dialog.

Or just search on a Word newsgroup--it's a common question.
