I am trying to instal MS Office SP3 to allivate some problems in MS Outlook
(0x80042100B and 0x800ccc0b). I have downloaded the SP3 files and attempted
to load the SP. It stops installing and gives me this answer: The expected
version of the product was not found on your system. I am running MS Office
Outlook 2003 (11.6568.6568) SP2. Why can't I install SP3?

Because there is no such thing as SP3 for Office 2003. There are
different SP3s for Office 97, Office 2000, and Office XP.

Thank you much. I was going on erroreous information from my ISP provider
gave me to alleviate the problem of getting the message in MS Outlook 2003
when attempting to send an attachment. The error message I recieved was
"Sending and receieving reported error (0x8004210B): The operation timed out
waiting for a response from the sending (SMTP) server. If you continue to
receive this message, contact your server administrtaor or Internet service
provider."

Again, thanks much, Hooter75

See http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=813514 "How to
troubleshoot error messages that you receive when try to send and
receive e-mail in Outlook and in Outlook Express" and
http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=315049 "You receive the 'The
operation timed out waiting for a response from the sending
(SMTP) server' error message when you use a POP3 account and SSL
to send SMTP e-mail in Outlook 2002 and in Outlook 2003".

If you decide to delete and recreate your Outlook email account,
then be sure to back up your Outlook .pst file(s) before deleting
the account.
