problems installing office xp

everytime i run setup from my disk it says "Setup has
detected that the office pack installation pack did not
complete successfully. would you like to repair your
install?" i push yes and then it says this "Error 25202.
Cannot install portions of the required System Files
Update: Internet Explorer 5. When I run IE5Setup,it says
that it already has a newer version of internet explorer
installed so it cannot continue the installation. I am
trying to install office xp professional on Windows 98.

i have the same problem except that mine says Unable to
locate M:\CAG.MS and Unable to get source volume
information: Error 21. help please!! email me if you have
an answer!
