I am running Windows XP Home Edition and am trying to get Outlook 2002
installed so that I may use my new Dell PDA.
The PDA came with a valid copy of Outlook 2002 with the proper registration
code.
I had a trial version Office / Outlook 2003 installed which I uninstalled
before installing Outlook 2002.
When I run the Outlook 2002 installation, everything appears to go perfectly
and I get the confirmation that everyting installed but there are no icons
installed and I am unable to find anything on my computer named "Outlook" if
I search for it.
I have run the "re-install" and the "repair" processes (did a "repair" both
with and without the option for "restore desktop icons" selected) and those
processes run just fine but I still have no Outlook when the installation is
complete.
Any thoughts? Your help will be very much appreciated.
