Problems installing Project Server 2007 Beta 2

I have tried to install Beta 2 of Project Server 2007 but could not finish
installation successfully.

When I try to add a PWA site in the SSP after a few minutes I receive the
following error messages in the eventlog (the databases though have all been
created):

1) Failed to provision databases. An exception occurred: Failed to grant
access and add user to role on databases
2) Failed to grant access and add user 'EPM2007\administrator' to role on
databases because of an exception Object reference not set to an instance of
an object

Can anyone help me on that? Any help greatly appreciated.

Hi Marc,
I had this problem as well, so I went through the deployment doc again and
realized that this version does not support Standalone installation, means it
requires a domain environment (there were also DirectoryServices error on my
failed provisioning).
Once the machine joined a domain the provisioning went smooth.
( I used a vpc to start allover with the configuratio)

Thanx for your help Shifarad. I have just found another post that states
exactly the same.
