Hi,
I have Outlook 2003 with BCM version 2.00.4324.00. We have been pilot
testing the product for a very basic contact management need. We have
a shared database being used by 3 people which has worked fine for a
few weeks.
Now, when we try to link an email message to an opportunity, the
opportunity list box goes haywire. When you choose the opportunity
record type from the link to record dialog in outlook, it acts as
though it's caught in an endless loop attempting to populate the list
and cannot be stopped without killing outlook. This does not happen
when linking an email to an account or to a contact.
I have tried turning off all autolinking, creating new accounts,
contacts and opps and using the 'check for errors' feature in the
database management menu. Does anyone have any ideas? This is going
to kill our use of the product if we can't get around it, because
sharing and reporting correspondance history was one of the primary
reasons we wanted to use it.
TIA,
Scott
