Problems linking text files

I have a table linked to a text file. I had no problem
linking the file, I recieved no error messages. However,
when I run a query which uses the linked file I get the
following error message:

The text file specification 'FILE NAME Link
Specification1' does not exist. You can't import,
export, or link using specification.

Where FILE NAME equals the name of the text file I've
linked.

Can anyone explain why I get this error, and how to get
rid of it?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
