Hi,

Are you sure that you have the xsn template on your machine? You need the
xsn to open the xml.

the blanks in the form and then I send the e-mail back with the info, thats
the problem I'm having because I cann't do that.

Yes, when you are trying to open Form1.xml received by email, DSM.xsn needs
to be on your machine. Where is it on your machine? If you can't find it,
install it first and try to open your email again.

OK, what do I need to install?
If you are talkin about the InfoPath I already have it installed in my PC.

Hi,

You need the template called DSM.xsn (with which the Form1.xml was
generated) to be on your Machine.

I already have the DSM.xml, but thing is that if you see message it is
searching in an user that isn't mine:

C:\Documents%20and%20settings\username\My%20Documents\DSM.xsn

This is my user
C:\Documents%20and%20settings\alhernandez\My%20Documents\DSM.xsn

Now what do you think about this why it is asking for an user that is not
mine.

OK, then if you have DSM.XSN (not XML) template on your machine. Open it, go
to File \ Open and point to Form1.xml.

FYI, if you open the XML with Notepad, in the top of the file, you will find
the path that you are referring to hard coded. You can change that path to
see if that helps.

Thanks that solve my problem now I can open the form, but I have another
computer that has windows 2000 and when I try to open the form this is the
message it shows:

Can't create file: Form1.xml. Right click the folder you want to create the
file in, and then click properties on the shortcut menu to check your
permissions for the folder.
