Problems printing justified paragraphs

T

Tom O'Brien

Whenever I print a long document that has justified
paragraphs throughout I frequently get single lines that
are unjustified randomly here and there throughout the
document. When I look at the formatting symbols there are
no paragraph marks or other special characters that would
explain the interrruption in justification. When I delete
the space between the words they simply come together.
Then when I reintroduce the space the justification
problem returns. This only shows up when printing. On the
screen the paragraph always appears justified.

I am using Word X for Mac on a DV iMac using a HP LaserJet
2200 DTN.

For Mac problems, particularly ones that involve software interactions
rather than manipulating Word itself, you are probably better off re-posting
in the NGs

microsoft.public.mac.office.word (or .excel, .powerpoint, .entourage, fyi)
microsoft.public.mac.office

Since it shows up fine on the screen, my inexperienced guess is a problem
with your printer driver. Perhaps check the HP website for a more recent
one for OS X or Jaguar.
