Problems projecting Powerpoint

I am having trouble using Powerpoint 2004 with a digital projector. I
can view both the slideshow and Presenter views on my 400 MHz G4
Powebook but when I connect to a digital project all I get is a black
screen on both the projector and the Powerbook in either view.

Does anyone know what the problem is and if there is a solution?

Hi Pete,

Maybe restarting the computer while the projector is connected and
running might help.
