Hello! I am in desperate need of help!
I designed our company's website on Publisher 2003. Earlier this year, my
computer crashed and I lost Publisher. So, I decided to do the trial version
of Publisher 2007. I was able to update my website without any problems.
However, that all changed when I tried to publish the site to the web, which
I hadn't had problems doing in the past.
Our site is hosted by our communications company. They gave me an IP address
to publish to and a username and password to use when prompted. I saved the
website to my computer in a index.html file. When I get to the "Publish to
the Web" box and type in the IP address in the File name box, it tells me
that Publisher "Cannot find the URL 'http://(IP address)', please check your
typing." Yet, when I put that same IP address into Internet Explorer the site
shows up. What am I doing wrong???? Please help! This is extremely
frustrating!
Additionally, I am working on XP, if that helps at all.
