Problems re-installing BCM for Outlook 2007

First of all, I had it installed but my Outlook kept on freezing and losing
my contacts so I uninstalled BCM and then cleaned the registry and temp
files. Then I tried to reinstall BCM. It failed and said to go to this
location: C:\Documents and Settings\Anthony S. Altano\Local Settings\Temp
and read MBSsetuptmp20A. Well I opened up this file and it had so much stuff
that I did not know what I was looking at to read. I need help please and
how can I attached this file so someone that knows what he or she is looking
for to help me??? Please help me on this problem because I have over 700+
Business Contacts that I now can not use.

Hi Tony,

I am also having problems installing on one of our computers. BCM crashed
while I was setting up Outlook for a new user. Even with a current backup of
the BCM database I'm dead in the water. I can't restore the data if BCM
won't run.

If you go to the bottom of that log file you will see where the installation
failed. It will show the error code in the last few lines.

I searched for 3 days and finally just gave up. I hope you are more
successful than I was.

Tony & dave,

I had major issues with MS Office 07 and I posted the query on MS software
help line ... the local Asian office (in KL) took a long time but resolved
it. Then the BCM would not load. It took me about 5 teleconferences over 3
weeks to have the BCM rectified. It was painful but I got the impression
there are some BCM gremlins they had to work through. While I was frustrated
at the delays I know they were doing their best. The key was to delete all MS
SQL programmes from the programs list and reinstal BCM. But please check to
see if that is the appropraite treatment for your case. (I am not a techie).
Be careful to have your back ups in order!
