Problems running Outlook 2000 on Terminal Server

After Installation of Windows 2000 Advanced Server with
Terminal Services, and then installing MS Outlook 2000,
Users cannot log on or connect to the Exchange Server.
when opening outlook, the error is that "default mail
folders could not be opened, connection to the Exchange
server has failed."

what could be the problem here? Please assist.
