Problems Saving Settings

I have upgraded to access 2007 but it seems that the format has not changed
from access 2000, trying to convert to the new version stalls the program. I
also have noticed that my user interface settings will not open automatically
nor am I able to save the settings to open the main switchboard automatically.

Is there something I could do to mainly have the switchboard open
automatically?

You can create a macro named Autoexec and have action OpenForm. Use
Switchboard as the form name.

Hi Karl, thanks for replying. Is it possible that the designer of our
database may have accidentally or purposely wrote code with security that
prevents the coe from being altered?

Could security be the reason some settings can be changed and saved (for
example the background color) and some won't mainly the ones dealing with
code (for example opening switchboard on load)?

You have nothing to worry about this is our database but our database
administrator is having a hard time figuring out what the problem is and she
is contracted so she could be asking the questions here but we would have to
pay her for this annoying problem.

But if anybody has an answer please let me know I am the network admin here
and I little to no knowledge of databse design.
