Problems sending attachments in Oulook2000

In our company there are certain documents that get sent from a users Outlook
through our 2000 exchange to an external recipient's bigpond.net.au address.
The user sends these attachments to the bigpond account, but the attachement
gets dropped and the external site cannot receive.

The user can however send to my bigpond account, and I receive the
attachment. Other users can send the same attachments to the bigpond
address, and they go through.
What would be causing it to not work?
