Problems specifying hours

Another problem regarding the PSI, which is related to the previous one, is
that when trying to specify the amount of hours spent by a resource on a
certain DAY on a task, the value that prevails is the one set as the default.
For example, if the default value is 8 hours and I want to specify 2 hours
for that day for the specific task, 8 is the value that prevails. Is it
possible to specify that information with the PSI?
