Problems synchronising with exchange server

Version: 2008
Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)
Processor: Intel
Email Client: Exchange

My entourage connects and starts synchronising with my company's Exchange server, however Entourage 'times-out' or crashes before the synchronisation is complete. This always happens on the last task - 'updating inbox' after updating Calendar, Drafts, Contacts, Junk e-mail etc.
I have re-installed the software, checked the account settings, downloaded the latest updates, cleared the cache and rebuilt the database successfully. But the problem still occurs.
Can anyone help?

I suspect that one of your messages is corrupted. Maybe in your inbox,
but not necessarely (it could be int he next folder it's checking after
that).

It's very difficult to figure out which one could be corrupted. I would
start by going on the server through OWA and trashing everything that
could be trashed (spam, ads, empty the trash, etc).

Than you Corentin, I have deleted or archived most of my emails and it is now working fine. So it must have been a bad mail as you suggested. Many thanks.
James.
