Problems synchronizing custom enterprise fields

Hi all,
I have QA group project plan for testing of our software. I have created a
custom enterprise field in Web Access for storing by our testers of Bug IDs
(text) for every failed function from that plan. The problem is that the
values that they enter do not show in Project Pro. The same thing happens
when I insert Bug ID in Project Pro, i.e. it does not show in My tasks table
in Web Access component.

Could you please tell me what could be wrong with it?

Have you tried inserting the field in question in either the Task Usage view
or Resource Usage view? If so, does the field so data in one of those two
Views? Let us know.

Hi Dale,

Just tried to add a field to Task Usage view in Project Pro, I can change
the field value there but still it does not show the changes in My Tasks
section of Web Access. I cannot add to Resource usage view because the field
is not available in the field list (I guess that is because it is related to
the task not resource).

Strange thing is that the correct value is shown when I open project in
project center of web access, but I cannot update values there.

Sorry if my field names are not exact we have a Russian Project server and
web access installed.

What is your current level of Service Packs and Cumulative Updates? If
memory serves me correctly, I believe this was an earlier issue with Project
Server 2007 that was fixed in either a Service Pack or Cumulative Update.
Let us know.

Hi Dale,

Unfortunately, updating to SP1 and installing all possible updates did not
help. Thanks for your help, if you have any other ideas about fixing the
situation please let me know.
