Problems using IIS and Frontpage

S

Scott

I'm a new user to IIS and Frontpage. I've designed a small simple website
using Frontpage 2002. I have IIS installed on my computer, with frontpage
extensions. The project directory is on a seperate hard drive and the IIS
settings point to it just fine. I can pull up the webpage and everything
works, execpt a few items. The web counter never goes past 1. And when i try
to submit a feedback from it says "Publish this web to a server that supports
the FrontPage Server Extensions to see usage data here." I don't understand
where i'm going wrong. If somebody can kinda of give a step by step process
on fixing the problem it would be greatly appreciated.

Sincerely,
Scott

How are you accessing the local web?

if publishing to your own computer you have to publish the site to
http://localhost to be able to test or use IIS/FP Server Extensions, or
publish to a real web server.

You need to install the FP server extensions (presuming you have XP Pro or
Windows Server 2003 or Win 2000?).
